German classes in Noida: what Yastudy offers, and what it does not
Three things are true at the same time, and it is better to say them plainly at the top.
- The classes are live online. A trainer teaches a batch of 10 to 12 in real time, and you join from home in Noida, Greater Noida or anywhere in the NCR.
- The office is in Noida. You can walk into the Yastudy office in Sector 132 to talk through your level, your batch and your plan for Germany.
- There is no classroom. If you are searching for German offline classes in Noida, this course is not that. The office is for counselling, and the teaching happens online. The other options section names a classroom course in Sector 18.
That mix suits students who want a live class without a daily commute. You get a small batch, a real office to visit when you need to speak to someone, and a Goethe exam you can book for Noida or New Delhi. The full course is on the main German language course page.

German course phone and WhatsApp: +91 87095 30155
Find Urbtech Trade Centre on Google Maps
You can walk in during office hours or call first to book a time. There is no charge for counselling. A visit is useful for three things:
- Your level and your batch. Which level your goal needs, how long it takes, and whether the batch timing fits your day.
- Your route to Germany. Ausbildung, nursing, a degree or the Opportunity Card. Yastudy also offers study in Germany counselling in Noida and help with a master's degree in Germany.
- Other services. The same office handles IELTS coaching, SOP writing and university applications. See Yastudy's services in Noida.
Before you visit
- Know your goal: Ausbildung, nursing, a degree, the Opportunity Card or a spouse visa. The level and the timeline follow from it.
- Know your week. The course needs about 5 hours on every weekday, so bring your college or office hours.
- If you want to talk about admission or Ausbildung as well, bring your Class 12 and degree mark sheets.
- If you have learnt German before, bring the certificate or tell us the book and the lesson you reached.
You do not need to visit the office to join the course. Enrolment and classes are both online.
How the German classes work
You join a live class from home, and the trainer teaches the batch in real time. You are asked questions, you speak German, and you are corrected.
- Three hours of live class a day, Monday to Friday, and about two more hours of homework and practice.
- 10 to 12 students in a batch at most, with speaking practice in every class.
- Every class is recorded, so a missed class or a dropped connection does not leave a gap.
- Doubts on WhatsApp between classes.
- A mock test every week, so that the exam pattern is familiar before exam day.
- Yastudy's own course material. At A1 this is a Kursbuch (course book) with 12 lessons and an Arbeitsbuch (workbook), with an exam task in every lesson.
Your trainer
Raj studied at TU Munich in a German-taught program. He teaches the German you will actually need in Germany, and he knows what the route from India to Germany looks like.
A weekday in the course
| Part of the day | Time | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Live class | 3 hours | New material with your trainer, then speaking practice in a small group |
| Your own practice | About 2 hours | Homework, new words, and the recording if you need to revise |
| Every week | One mock test | You see where you stand before the exam |
That is about 5 hours of German on every weekday. The pace only works if you attend every class and practise daily. If you can study only at the weekend, this course will not suit you.
What you need at home
- A laptop, tablet or phone with a camera and a microphone. A laptop is more comfortable for three hours.
- Earphones or a headset for the listening exercises.
- A steady internet connection, with mobile data as a backup.
- A quiet place for three hours, and a notebook. The paper-based exam is written by hand, so practise writing by hand as well.
See a class before you decide. We send a 15-minute recorded class on WhatsApp, with no payment needed. Or join a live class on Zoom for ₹199.
Send me the classWhich German level do you need?
Your goal decides the level. These are the usual requirements, and the week by which this course reaches each one.
| Your goal | German level needed | With this course | What to enrol in |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spouse visa (family reunion) | A1 for most applicants, shown with a Goethe, telc or ÖSD certificate | A1 by week 3 | German A1 course |
| Opportunity Card (Chancenkarte) | On the points route, German A1 or English B2 at minimum. German A2 adds 1 point, B1 adds 2 and B2 adds 3. | A1 by week 3, B2 by week 21 | A1, or a combo for the extra points |
| Ausbildung (vocational training) | B1, normally | B1 by week 13 | A1 to B1 combo |
| Nurses | B2 for the recognition of your qualification | B2 by week 21 | A1 to B2 combo |
| Studienkolleg (route to a bachelor's degree) | B1 to B2 to sit the entrance test | B1 by week 13, B2 by week 21 | A1 to B2 combo |
| Doctors (Approbation) | B2, then the C1 medical language exam | B2 by week 21. C1 medical German comes after this program. | A1 to B2 combo |
| German-taught degree | DSH-2 or TestDaF 4, about C1 | B2 by week 21. C1 comes after this program. | A1 to B2 combo |
Some employers, schools and German states ask for more, and rules change, so check the official page for your case. The level table on the main German page names the official sources for the visa and recognition rows.
Working in Noida or Greater Noida
If you work in one of the offices along the expressway or in Sector 62 and are looking at the Opportunity Card, check the points route first. You need German A1 or English B2 at minimum, and German A2, B1 and B2 then add 1, 2 and 3 points. Graduates whose degree is fully recognised in Germany do not need the points. This course needs about 5 hours on every weekday, which is very hard to keep up beside a full-time job. Read the Opportunity Card guide before you decide.
Studying in Noida or Greater Noida
If you are at a university or college here and plan a degree in Germany, the level depends on the language of the program. Many master's programs are taught in English. For a bachelor's degree, many students with an Indian Class 12 certificate go through a Studienkolleg first, and its entrance test needs B1 to B2. Read Bachelor's in Germany from India.
Nurses
The recognition of a nursing qualification in Germany asks for German at B2. Plan the full A1 to B2 route, about 21 weeks of class, and take the B2 exam at the end. The German B2 course page explains what B2 involves.
After Class 12
A1 starts from zero, so you need no German to join. If your goal is Ausbildung, the A1 to B1 combo is the usual choice, and the German B1 course page explains the level.
Spouses joining a partner in Germany
The level asked for is A1, with a certificate from the Goethe-Institut, telc or ÖSD. A1 takes about 3 weeks in this course. See the German A1 course, and read the note for spouse visa applicants further down this page.
If you already know some German
You do not have to start from A1. If you have finished A1 elsewhere, join the A2 batch: the A2 to B1 combo is ₹23,500 and A2 to B2 is ₹33,500. Not sure of your level? Message us on WhatsApp and we will check it with you.
German levels A1 to B2: what you learn
The levels follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which the Goethe and telc exams also use.
| Level | What you can do at the end | Live class | Time | Fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| German A1 course | Introduce yourself, ask and answer simple questions, and manage everyday needs such as ordering food or asking the way | 40 hours | About 3 weeks | ₹14,000 |
| German A2 course | Talk about your routine, your background, shopping and work in simple connected sentences, and write short messages and emails | 50 hours | About 3½ weeks | ₹16,000 |
| German B1 course | Handle most situations in daily life and at work, describe experiences and plans, and give reasons for your opinions | 100 hours | About 7 weeks | ₹20,000 |
| German B2 course | Follow complex texts and discussions, speak fluently with native speakers, and write clear, detailed texts | 120 hours | 8 weeks | ₹24,000 |
The 21 weeks, level by level
| Weeks | Level | What you cover |
|---|---|---|
| 1 to 3 | A1 | Twelve lessons, from greetings and introducing yourself to travel and holidays. Grammar includes W-questions, the accusative, modal verbs and the perfect tense. |
| 4 to 6 | A2 | Your background and education, home, shopping, work, travel and health. Grammar includes the dative, reflexive verbs, comparisons, and clauses with weil, dass and wenn. |
| 7 to 13 | B1 | Work, training and applications, study, media, and giving your opinion. Grammar includes the simple past, the passive, relative clauses, the genitive and Konjunktiv II. |
| 14 to 21 | B2 | Current social issues, professional messages, presentations and discussions. Grammar includes the passive in all tenses, indirect speech, participle constructions and linking words for formal writing. |
The week numbers are rounded. Each level page has the full syllabus and the exam pattern. If A1 is your first exam, the Goethe A1 exam guide shows a sample task for every part of the paper.

Course and exam together
On 2 October 2026 A1 exam dates were listed for Noida, so check the date list for B1 and B2 before you plan. This table adds the course fee and one Goethe exam at the level your goal asks for.
| Goal | Course | Course fee | Goethe exam fee | Course and exam |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Spouse visa, A1 | German A1 | ₹14,000 | ₹9,400 (A1) | ₹23,400 |
| Ausbildung, B1 | A1 to B1 combo | ₹29,500 | ₹18,800 (B1) | ₹48,300 |
| Nursing or Studienkolleg, B2 | A1 to B2 combo | ₹39,500 | ₹21,200 (B2) | ₹60,700 |
The Goethe-Institut does not ask for a certificate at a lower level before you sit a higher exam, so you choose which exams to take. The exam fees are the ones the Goethe-Institut India listed on 2 October 2026, including GST, and they can change.
Comparing fees in Noida
Institutes may quote German fees for a level, for a month or for a package. To compare them, ask each one for the number of class hours and divide the fee by it, as in the first table above. Then look at the batch size, whether classes are recorded, and what happens if you don't clear the exam.
The ₹199 live class
You pay ₹199 to confirm your seat and join a live class on Zoom, about 30 minutes plus questions and answers. You speak German and get corrected. If you enrol within 7 days of the class, the ₹199 comes off your fee. Otherwise it is not refunded.
German batch timings
Every level has its own batch, and a combo starts with the batch of its first level. All batches run Monday to Friday, 3 hours a day.
| Batch | Length | Starts | Timing |
|---|---|---|---|
| German A1 | 40 hours, about 3 weeks | Ask us on WhatsApp for the next batch | |
| German A2 | 50 hours, about 3½ weeks | Ask us on WhatsApp for the next batch | |
| German B1 | 100 hours, about 7 weeks | Ask us on WhatsApp for the next batch | |
| German B2 | 120 hours, 8 weeks | Ask us on WhatsApp for the next batch |
If the timing clashes with your college or your office hours, tell us on WhatsApp before you enrol. The live demo class timings are on the batch section of the main German page.
How to enrol
- Tell us your goal on WhatsApp, by phone or at the Sector 132 office. We tell you the level you need and how long it takes.
- See a class. Ask for the 15-minute recorded class, or join a live class on Zoom for ₹199.
- Choose one level or a combo. If your goal needs B1 or B2, a combo costs much less than paying level by level.
- Pay online in the fees section of the main German page.
- Join your batch online on the start date.
Goethe exam in Noida and New Delhi
On 2 October 2026 the Goethe-Institut India listed A1 exam dates for both Noida and New Delhi. These are the institute's two sites in the region.
Goethe-Institut@Wave One, Noida
L-2A & L2A/1, Floor 24, Pocket G, Sector 18
Silver Tower, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201301
The Goethe-Institut gives Noida Sector 18 as the nearest metro station, about 550 m or a 7-minute walk away.
Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan New Delhi
3, Kasturba Gandhi Marg
New Delhi 110 001
About a 10-minute walk from Connaught Place. Metro stations named by the institute: Janpath, Barakhamba Road, Rajiv Chowk and Shivaji Stadium.
Both addresses are from the Goethe-Institut New Delhi contact page. The contact page does not say at which venue the Noida exams are held. The Goethe-Institut sends you the details for exam day after you register, so go by that message and not by this page. On its exam pages the institute names its New Delhi office as the contact for Greater Noida and Gurgaon as well, so check the date list for the place nearest to you.
Booking the exam
- Book on the Goethe-Institut India website. You choose the level, the place and a date, sign in to your Mein Goethe.de account and pay online.
- Enter your name exactly as in your passport. The certificate is issued from these details.
- Read the message the institute sends you after you register. It tells you what is required on the day of the exam. At A1 and A2 the rules allow the speaking exam to be held on a different day, up to 14 days from the written exam.
- Carry your passport, in the original. The Goethe-Institut India accepts only a valid passport as ID for its language exams.
- Book only on the Goethe-Institut's own website. The institute warns against fraudulent offers that promise access to exams or certificates.
Exam pattern, pass mark and fee at each level
| Goethe exam | Listening, reading, writing | Speaking | To pass | Fee in India, including GST |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A1 (Start Deutsch 1) | 20 + 25 + 20 minutes | 15 minutes, in a group | 60 of 100 points | ₹9,400 |
| A2 | 30 + 30 + 30 minutes | 15 minutes, in pairs | 60 of 100 points, with at least 45 in the written parts and 15 in speaking | ₹10,600 |
| B1 | 40 + 65 + 60 minutes | 15 minutes, in pairs | 60% in each module | ₹18,800 for all four modules, or ₹4,700 for one module |
| B2 | 40 + 65 + 75 minutes | 15 minutes, in pairs | 60% in each module | ₹21,200 for all four modules, or ₹5,300 for one module |
These are the fees listed by the Goethe-Institut India on 2 October 2026. Check the current fees and dates on the Goethe-Institut India exam pages before you book.
Which exams to take
You do not have to sit an exam after every level. The Goethe-Institut does not ask for a lower certificate before a higher exam. Take the exam your goal asks for: A1 for a spouse visa, B1 for Ausbildung, B2 for nursing. At B1 and B2 the exam has four modules, which you can take together or one at a time.
On exam day
Reach the venue in good time. Mobile phones, smartwatches, dictionaries and notes are not allowed in the exam room. You get your result in your Mein Goethe.de account, and the certificate is downloaded from the same account.
telc and ÖSD exams
telc and ÖSD are separate exam providers with their own licensed centres. The German Missions in India accept their A1 certificates for a spouse visa, along with the Goethe certificate. If you plan to take one of them, find a licensed centre and a date on the provider's own website first.
For the A1 paper in detail, with sample tasks, marks and preparation, read the Goethe A1 exam guide.
Other ways to learn German in Delhi NCR
Our course is one option among several, and it is not the right one for everybody.
- The Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan. Germany's cultural institute teaches German from A1 to C2, online and face-to-face, including weekend courses. Its course brochure for October 2026 to June 2027 lists face-to-face classes at Kasturba Gandhi Marg in New Delhi and at Goethe-Institut@Wave One in Noida Sector 18, at INR 28,500 for each level. Our Delhi page has a point-by-point comparison of the Goethe-Institut and Yastudy, with the institute's published fees.
- University part-time courses. The University of Delhi lists part-time Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses in German, offered in its colleges. See where to learn German in Delhi.
- Classroom institutes in Noida. Private institutes in the city teach German in classrooms. The checks on this page apply to them as they do to us.
Online class or a classroom in Noida: how to compare
| What to compare | Why it matters | At Yastudy |
|---|---|---|
| Class hours for each level | Ask for the number of hours, not the number of months | A1 40, A2 50, B1 100 and B2 120 hours of live class |
| Batch size | The smaller the batch, the more you speak | 10 to 12 students at most |
| Missed classes | At an intensive pace, one missed class is hard to catch up | Every class is recorded |
| Exam preparation | You should know the paper before exam day | A mock test every week |
| If you don't clear the exam | Ask what happens next, and ask for it in writing | You repeat the level without paying again, with at least 80% attendance, and the exam taken within 3 months of finishing the level |
| Travel | The commute comes out of your practice time | None. You join from home. |
| A place to meet someone | Some questions are easier face to face | The office in Sector 132, Monday to Saturday |
Choose a classroom or a weekend course if you cannot give German five hours on every weekday, or if you study better with a teacher in the room. Choose this course if you need B1 or B2 within months and can study full-time.
Join from Noida, Greater Noida and the rest of the NCR
Because the class is online, your sector does not matter. You can join from Sector 18, Sector 62, Sector 15, Sector 50, Sector 76 or Sector 137, from Noida Extension, and from Greater Noida, including Pari Chowk and Knowledge Park.
The same batch is open to the rest of the NCR: Ghaziabad, including Indirapuram and Vaishali, East Delhi, Gurugram and Faridabad. Students in Delhi can also read the German language course in Delhi page. Yastudy has location pages for Greater Noida and Ghaziabad as well.
Compare online: compare online German courses in India. German pages for other cities: Patna, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Coimbatore and Trivandrum.
Study plans for students in Noida
These plans count class time at 3 hours a day, Monday to Friday, with full attendance and daily practice. The exam date depends on what the exam centre has open.
| Plan | Course | Class time | Exam to take | What comes next |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ausbildung | A1 to B1 combo | About 13 weeks: A1 by week 3, A2 by week 6, B1 by week 13 | Goethe B1 | You apply to companies in Germany with your B1 certificate |
| Nursing | A1 to B2 combo | About 21 weeks: B1 by week 13, B2 by week 21 | Goethe B2 | The recognition of your nursing qualification, which needs B2 |
| Bachelor's degree through a Studienkolleg | A1 to B2 combo | About 21 weeks | Goethe B1 or B2, as the Studienkolleg asks | The APS certificate and the Studienkolleg application |
| Spouse visa | German A1 | About 3 weeks | Goethe A1, not more than one year before the visa application | The visa application with your A1 certificate |
Admission and Ausbildung guidance from the Yastudy study-abroad team comes with the A1 to B2 combo, not with the A1 to B1 combo. A first counselling session at the Noida office is open to everyone at no charge. The guidance that comes with the combo is the continuing support after it.
After the course: the next steps from Noida
German is one step. What follows depends on your route.
- Ausbildung. Vocational training. In the dual form you are paid by a German employer and attend a vocational school. You apply to companies with your B1 certificate.
- Nursing. Nurses need their qualification recognised in Germany, and recognition asks for B2.
- A degree. Students going for a degree generally need an APS certificate for the student visa. APS India is part of the Science Section of the German Embassy New Delhi, and you apply online and send your documents by courier or post.
- Work. The Opportunity Card lets you look for a job in Germany.
The German Missions in India state that most national visas can be applied for online through the Consular Service Portal. The Delhi page explains the visa and APS steps in more detail.
A note for spouse visa applicants. Not every spouse needs a German certificate. The German Missions in India say it is mandatory for almost everyone joining a German citizen, and for most spouses of people in Germany who do not hold a visa or residence permit for highly skilled work. They also state that the A1 exam cannot have taken place more than one year ago.

Checks before you pay for a German course in Noida
These apply to every institute, including this one.
- Class hours. Ask how many class hours each level has. Months alone do not tell you how much teaching you get.
- Batch size. Ask for the largest batch, not the average.
- The trainer. Ask who teaches the class and where the trainer studied.
- Speaking. Ask whether you speak in every class. Every Goethe exam from A1 to B2 has a speaking part.
- Missed classes. Ask whether classes are recorded and what happens when you miss one.
- The exam. Ask which exam the course prepares you for, and how often you write a mock test.
- If you don't pass. Ask what happens next, and ask for it in writing.
- The exam fee. It is usually not part of the course fee, because you pay it to the exam centre.
- "Placement" and "guarantee". A German certificate does not come with a job. Ask exactly what is promised. Yastudy does not promise a job or a placement. What we promise is the repeat of a level under the conditions on this page and, with the A1 to B2 combo, a roadmap session and admission or Ausbildung guidance.
- A class before you pay. Ask to watch one. If you cannot see a class, you cannot judge it.
Our answers to all ten are on this page.
Your first German sentences, from Noida
The first A1 lesson is about greetings and introducing yourself. This is the kind of introduction you build in the first days of the course, and it is also the first task of the A1 speaking exam.
Introducing yourself
